LG GD580 Lollipop Review

This time LG has targeted younger generation with its new mobile phone named as LG GD580 Lollipop. This is a clam shell form factor device and has an external hidden OLED display. The main display of LG GD580 Lollipop is of 2.8 inch and with resolution of 240×400 pixels, this means you’ll enjoy watching videos and photos. The built-in camera of this gadget is of 3 mega pixel and you can also add all kinds of special effects to photos plus this handset also have a secondary video call camera (front facing), which means you will be able to do video calling with your love ones.


For connectivity in this Smartphone there is a Bluetooth by which you can transfer data from other mobile phones plus there is a microUSB if you wish to connect lollipop to a pc. The built-in memory of this handset is of 60MB but it can be expanded with microSD card up to 8GB, which means you can store more than 1000 songs. As for the entertainment in this cell phone there is a Stereo FM radio with RDS and MP3 player that support all the formats such as MP3, AAC, AAC +, WAV, WMA9, MIDI and other music formats. The LG GD580 Lollipop is available in the market with the price tag 230 Euros.

LG GS290 Review

Introduction:


It seems LG is firmly intent to offer the wide audience a cram full box of cookies in an attempt to come up with a handset to repeat the smashing success of the LG Cookie KP500. Two new members of the famous family have been introduced by the time of the current review, the LG Cookie Plus GS500 and LG Cookie Fresh GS290 and we are waiting for the official announcement of another device, the Cookie Gig KM570. What they all have in common is they are affordable feature phones equipped with touch sensitive screens.


Today we are going to take a closer look at the LG Cookie Fresh GS290 that, at the time being, is the poorest family member in terms of hardware specifications. It seems what it stakes on to win over customers is audio playback functionality – the handset features 3.5mm headphone jack and allows its owners to listen to radio stations without necessarily having to plug in a headphone set. Similarly to most other handsets in the affordable segment of the market today, the Cookie Fresh lacks 3G and comes with mediocre, 2-megapixel camera.




Design:


For good or bad, the LG Cookie Fresh GS290 is the typical affordable touchscreen phone, in terms of design. Its appearance is by no means breathtaking, but it’s not bad either. LG plans to offer it in a plethora of color variations, trying to suit as many consumer tastes as possible.. The plastic, from which it is manufactured, feels fairly cheap, although not unpleasant to touch. It has smooth curves, which make the LG Cookie Fresh GS290 feel natural in the hand. We are somewhat annoyed at the battery cover that can be removed way too easily and it’s not unlikely that it falls off while you carry about the cell phone in your pocket.


The screen measures 3 inches and has a resolution of 240x400 pixels – standard for a budget touch phone. It guarantees a lot of pixelization, so that’s not the best-looking display ever. Still, looking through the preloaded pictures, we found it to be a worthy competitor to every other phone in the same class. As it is resistive, using it will be flawless for female users with longer nails, while the rest will have to put up with the inconveniences this technology provides. The screen utilizes resistive technology, meaning you will either have to press it with your fingernails and put up with the inadequate response or exert extra force to get things done.


All the keys on our prototype felt nice and we are happy to see the microSD slot is on the left side and allows for memory card hotswapping. The device is charged via its microUSB port that you also use to connect it to a desktop computer.


All in all, the LG Cookie Fresh GS290 is what you’d expect it to be – a bit cheap, not very attractive, but still pleasant enough to look at. The version in silver looks rather boring really, but other colors may provide a breath of fresh air to the handset design and make the device an appealing option, especially to kids and children, not to mention these groups are part of the target audience.

Tips BlackBerry Lemot

TIPS buat yang suka mengeluh BB nya lemot! :

Kalau BM'y Lemot jgn mnta PING sma org laen! PING bukan utk biar BM gk lemot, PING buat klo org lama blz BM'y..
Tips agar BB kita gak lemot dan kinerjanya tetap lancar dan stabil, karena BB bukan HP biasa, tetapi sebuah Smartphone. Tips ini berlaku untuk semua type BB, baik Curve, Pearl, Bold maupun Storm. Berikut tips nya :

1. Usahakan tiap 2-3 hari sekali, cabut/lepas batere BB, dan diamkan selama 1-2 menit, ini fungsinya untuk membuang dan menghapus sisa-sisa file yg tidak terpakai akibat proses chatting maupun browsing.

2. Lakukan secara rutin Clear Log Event dengan cara tekan tombol ALT+L G L G..akan muncul dilayar hasil log,tekan tombol logo, pilih Clear Log (jk bhs inggris), atau bersihkan Log (jk bhs indonesia), tekan Delete.

3. Lakukan juga secara rutin Cleaning Memory, dgn cara, pilih Options, Security Options, Cleaning Memory, tekan tombol logo ,pilih Clean Now.

4. Tiap 2-3 hari sekali,lakukan Host Routing Table, dengan cara pilih Options, Advanced Options, pilih Host Routing Table, tekan tombol logo, pilih Register Now.

5. Dan setelah step ke 4 diatas,lakukan juga tiap 2-3 hari sekali Diagnostic Test, ini sangat penting. Karena lwt inilah kelihatan dilayar apakah BB kita terkoneksi semua,baik PIN, Register maupun koneksi Email. Dengan cara, pilih Options, Mobile Network, setelah itu tekan logo, pilih Diagnostic Test, lalu tekan lagi tombol logo, pilih RUN,biarkan sampai proses berjalan Completed, jika hasil proses ada yg Abort,ulangi lg agar hasil jgn sampai ada yang Abort..

Itulah tips agar kinerja BB kita lancar, stabil dan tidak lemot. Semoga bermanfaat..Ingat, tips diatas bukan cuma diusahakan dilakukan, tetapi harus, agar BB lancar dan tidak lemot..Karena BB bukan HP GSM biasa..BB (Blackberry) adalah Smartphone.

Sejak rilis beberapa pekan silam, smartphone Android Froyo besutan LG ini mendapat sambutan yang cukup baik. Pihak LG mengatakan bahwa mereka telah berhasil menjual 1 juta unit. Mereka berharap ponsel ini dapat laku pada kisaran angka 10 juta unit diberbagai negara.

LG Optimus One tentu berbeda dengan LG C900 Optimus 7Q. Meski sama-sama mengandung nama’Optimus’, namun keduanya beda platform. LG C900 Optimus 7Q yang rilis 18 Nopember lalu berbasis Windows Phone 7. Sedangkan Optimus One menggunakan Android OS Froyo dan dioptimasi untuk Google Mobile Services.

Ponsel berlayar sentuh HVGA TFT berukuran 3.2 inci (320 x 480 pixel)ini diperkuat oleh CPU 600 MHz (sama seperti CPU yang dimiliki oleh LG Vortex), jaringan 3G dan HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, bluetooth, kompas digital, jack audio 3.5 mm, HDMI dan DLNA support

Sementara untuk user interface (UI), pihak LG lebih memilih UI buatan mereka sendiri. Kamera dengan resolusi 3.2 MP mampu melakukan face tracking dan smile shot disamping kemampuannya merekam video dengan kualitas VGA (@18 fps ( frame per second). Lumayanlah daripada loe manyun, hihihi
